Edhi staff to perform duties on March 23

LAHORE: The Edhi Foundation Lahore has cancelled holidays of its staff and razakaras for performing duties along processions and rallies on March 23.

A spokesman for the Foundation said on Friday that all staff would perform emergency duty in different areas of the provincial capital including Wahga border, Minar-e-Pakistan, Data Darbar, Shahdara, The Mall road, Mughalpura, Ghari Shahu, Baghbanpura, Jail Road and Canal Bank Road.

About 40 Edhi ambulances and razakars would remain on high alert at various areas to meet any untoward incident, he added.
