ECC approves release of funds for North Waziristan TDPs

ISLAMABAD: The Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) of the Cabinet Wednesday approved release of funds for Temporary Dislocated Persons (TDPs) from North Waziristan in the wake of Zarb-e-Azab operation.

The ECC, which met here under the chairmanship of Finance Minister Asad Umar, also approved allocation of 66 MMCFC additional Mari Deep Gas.

The committee approved Technical Support Grant of Rs202.637 million for Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD) and Rs12.409 million for Pakistan Chairs Abroad in favour of Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training.
