QUETTA: Mourning day was observed on Monday across Balochistan including its capital against the killing of 50 faithful Muslim including nine Pakistani in terrorist attack at two mosques in New Zealand on Friday.

The National flag flew at half mast on all government department buildings in honor of martyred and injured in New Zealand.

The notification was issued by the Interior Ministry the other day to express solidarity with the bereaved families in the gruesome terror incident that took place at two mosques in Christchurch.

Talking to APP, Chief Minister Balochistan’s Media Coordinator Bilal Khan Kakar strongly condemned the attack on faithful Muslim in News Zealand and expressed deep sorrow with bereaved families and prayed for the early recovery of the injured.

Bilal Khan Kakar said the faithful Muslims were present in two masques in the city of Christchurch for offering prayers of Friday (Juma) when armed man opened fire at them.

He said whole nation is suffering mourn over tragedy of News Zeeland, adding, people of Balochistan observed day of mourning to express their solidarity with grieved families.

He said National flag was flown at half mast on Governor House, Chief Minister House, Balochistan Assembly, civil secretariat and other main officials building according to notification of Interior Ministry.
