Bilawal inaugurates Sar Sabz Sindh Project

KARACHI: Chairman of Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Thursday said that Sindh Government would plant 2 billion trees across the province in next 5 years.
Talking to media after inaugurating "Sar Sabz Sindh" project by planting a sapling in Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Park here, he said that the government would focus on planting fruit trees.
He said that the drive aimed at combating environmental challenges.
Earlier, Sindh Wildlife and Forests Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah said that trees would be planted across the province under the project. He said that fruit trees and native trees would be planted.
On the occasion, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, Sindh Minister for Local Government Saeed Ghani, other senior PPP leaders were also present.
