RECORDER REPORT: PSX close of day

KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the upper side on Wednesday at 21,298.54 points with a positive change of 48.66 and volume of 64,992,100 shares. High and Low were 21,445.57 and 21,258.29 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 16 were up, 13 were down and 1 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 93,538,720 shares. Total companies traded were 335 of which 144 were positive, 165 were negative and 26 were unchanged.

Commercial Banks was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 32,036,000 shares. It was followed by Power Generation and Distribution with a total traded volume of 9,574,000 shares.
