Dr. Shakeel Afridi being dealt in line with country's law: FO

ISLAMABAD: The Foreign Office on Friday said Dr. Shakeel Afridi was being dealt with according to the country's law and said Pakistan expected from other countries to respect its legal process.

"He is being dealt with, in accordance with our law. We expect all to respect our legal process, and refrain from making groundless insinuations and drawing premature conclusions," Foreign Officer spokesperson Abdul Basit told APP.

Dr. Shakeel Afridi has been detained by the Pakistan government on charges of his involvement in the CIA operation to hunt down Osama bin Laden in Abbottabad.
