ISLAMABAD: Minister for Interior, Rehman Malik on Monday directed Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to provide full assistance to provincial police department in tracing out the criminals involved in Nowshera blast.
Condemning the bomb blast in Nowshera, the minister also directed FIA to gather forensic evidence at the blast site so as to dig out the facts.
Malik also telephoned District Police Officer (DPO) to get information about the incident.
According to the details, four persons were killed while many others were injured when a bomb blast ripped through a public meeting of the Awami National Party (ANP) at Farooq Stadium Nowshera.
Chief Minister, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and other leaders of ANP remained safe in the blast.
Malik expressed firm resolve to wipe out terrorism and extremism in all its forms and manifestations.
