LONDON: European stock markets rose at the start of trading on Tuesday, with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index up 0.5 percent to 7,066.39 points.
In the eurozone, the Paris CAC 40 index climbed 0.2 percent to 5,009.83 points and Frankfurt's DAX 30 index was up a fraction at 11,178.75 compared with Monday's closing levels.
