Spell of hot weather would continue throughout the next week as the mercury is set to rise above 40 degree Celsius, said met office sources. They said that westerly wave would continue hitting the city until monsoon season sets in. Already, scorching heat has hit the city and temperature has started rising fast, leading to many weather-relating issues confronting the people.
