This is apropos a news item "ECC meets today" carried by Business Recorder on April 17, 2019. "In the first para of the said news item, some incorrect facts have been reported about the summary of NAB for release of supplementary grant. The same is totally misconceived and the figures shown are out of context.
"It is to clarify that the said information is not correct and devoid of factum. The only purpose of said request for funds to the tune of Rs. 70 million was to meet the requirement of legal fee/charges of law firms against their rendered services. The said firms were hired by the Government of Pakistan to defend the arbitration case in United Kingdom."-PR
