On Tuesday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 3,843. The traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 5.270 billion and the number of lots traded 7,068.
Major business was contributed by NSDQ100 amounting to PKR 1.478 billion followed by gold PKR 1.363 billion, WTI crude oil PKR 1.004 billion, currencies through COTS PKR 745.245 billion, DJ PKR 269.448 million, platinum PKR 216.194 million, silver PKR 151.945 million, SP500 PKR 22.253 million, copper PKR 7.059 million, Brent crude oil PKR 6.859 million and natural gas PKR 4.023 million.
In agriculture commodities 28 lots of cotton valued at PKR 15.315 million and 4 lots of wheat amounting to PKR 12.635 million were traded.
