On Wednesday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 3,684. The traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 8.966 billion and the number of lots traded 12,080.
Major business was contributed by NSDQ100 amounting to PKR 3.715 billion followed by WTI crude oil PKR 1.737 billion, gold PKR 1.248 billion, currencies through COTS PKR 1.127 billion, DJ PKR 671.172 million, platinum PKR 176.442 million, silver PKR 113.151 million, Palladium PKR 61.764 million, Brent crude oil PKR 44.752 million, SP500 PKR 35.902 million, copper PKR 23.952 million and natural gas PKR 11.859 million.
In agriculture commodities 10 lots of cotton valued at PKR 14.452 million, 4 lots of wheat valued at PKR 12.610 million and 2 lots of corn valued at PKR 5.190 million were traded.
