KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the lower side on Wednesday at 21,691.86 points with a negative change of -115.73 and volume of 97,337,000 shares. High and Low were 21,945.88 and 21,646.50 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 8 were up, 22 were down and 0 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 133,847,190 shares. Total companies traded were 336 of which 104 were positive, 212 were negative and 20 were unchanged.

Cable and Electrical Goods was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 26,063,250 shares. It was followed by Cement with a total traded volume of 16,538,800 shares.
