KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the lower side on Thursday at 20,686.17 points with a negative change of -135.23 and volume of 41,270,500 shares. High and Low were 20,912.89 and 20,516.41 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 5 were up, 25 were down and 0 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 67,958,250 shares. Total companies traded were 319 of which 88 were positive, 219 were negative and 12 were unchanged.

Technology and Communication was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 13,669,400 shares. It was followed by Chemicals with a total traded volume of 8,763,300 shares.
