KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the lower side on Wednesday at 20,821.40 points with a negative change of -116.03 and volume of 82,560,500 shares. High and Low were 21,203.85 and 20,774.85 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 3 were up, 27 were down and 0 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 133,646,620 shares. Total companies traded were 336 of which 93 were positive, 224 were negative and 19 were unchanged.

Cement was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 21,630,200 shares. It was followed by Chemicals with a total traded volume of 20,247,750 shares.
