RECORDER REPORT: PSX close of day

KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the upper side on Monday at 21,250.83 points with a positive change of 24.53 and volume of 39,851,700 shares. High and Low were 21,251.97 and 20,937.41 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 17 were up, 11 were down and 2 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 74,655,520 shares. Total companies traded were 330 of which 133 were positive, 165 were negative and 32 were unchanged.

Commercial Banks was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 13,319,200 shares. It was followed by Fertilizer with a total traded volume of 11,385,400 shares.

The top three advancers were Pakistan Tobacco Company Limited with a volume of 6,000 and price per share of 2,755.41 (127.94), Murree Brewery Co Ltd with a volume of 3,950 and price per share of 841.78 (31.88), Millat Tractors Limited with a volume of 11,740 and price per share of 921.43 (27.31).

The top three decliners were Unilever Pakistan Food Limited with a volume of 20 and price per share of 7,125 (-375.00), Atlas Honda Ltd with a volume of 150 and price per share of 380.01 (-18.99), Mari Petroleum Company Limited with a volume of 27,900 and price per share of 1,291.71 (-17.85).
