Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shahbaz Sharif and his two wives-Nusrat and Tehmina Durrani-collectively own assets worth Rs 389 million.
As per details shared with the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Shahbaz Sharif possesses assets worth Rs 159 million which includes Rs 126 million properties in London. However, an amount worth Rs 108.9 million has been shown as liability in the documents annexed with his nomination papers filed for national and provincial assemblies seats from different parts of the country including Lahore, Karachi, D G Khan and Swat.
As per documents, Shahbaz owns two properties on Hall Road in Murree of one kanal and nine marla. He also possesses shares worth Rs 11.4 million in Hudabiya Engineering Mills, Hamza Spinning Mills and Hudabiya Paper Mills. He also owns 88 kanal land in Sheikhupura, which he received as a gift from his mother.
Shahbaz's first wife Nusrat is the owner of assets worth Rs 225 million. She owns a 10 kanal house in Model Town which has been estimated at Rs 128.7 million, along with Rs 57 million lodge in Murree's Doonga Gali.
Nusrat's total wealth in Kasur is stated to be Rs 2.6 million and she possesses shares worth Rs 8.7 million in different companies. She has jewellery worth Rs 1.7 million and accounts in five different banks with a balance of Rs 18.9 million.
Shahbaz's second wife Tehmina Durrani owns assets worth Rs 5.7 million. She owns a 10 marla house in Defence Housing Authority in Lahore and has five bank accounts with a cumulative balance of Rs 0.5 million. Tehmina also received four properties in Haripur as gifts and possesses jewellery and a vehicle worth Rs 1.5 million and Rs 0.5 million respectively.
Moreover, Shahbaz's son Hamza Shahbaz is the owner of 155 kanal irrigation land and is a shareholder of 21 different mills. The PML-N leader has a bank balance of Rs 4.37 million and possesses prizee bonds worth Rs 1.68 million Hamza doesn't own any personal vehicle and his two wives namely Rabia and Mehrunnisa have been shown as his dependent.
