PHF names Champion's Trophy squad

Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) has announced 18 players for the 37th edition of the Champion's Trophy which is going to take place in Breda (Holland) from June 23. On June 3, Pakistan had sent 22 players to Holland for the last phase of the training and after assessing players' form and fitness, the management dropped four players namely Mazhar Abbas, M. Rizwan Junior, Rana Sohail and Dilber.
The final 18 players for the event are: M. Rizwan Senior (captain), Imran Butt, Amjad Ali, M. Irfan Senior, Mubashir Ali, Aleem Bilal, Amad Shakeel Butt, Touseeq Arshad, Rashid Mahmood, Tassawar Abbas, Abu Bakar, M. Irfan Junior, Arslan Qadir, Umar Bhutta, Shafqat Rasool, Ali Shan, Azfar Yaqoob and Aijaz Ahmed.
