Business Recorder op-ed writer Farhat Ali in his last op-ed "PTI's 'first 100-day' agenda: welcome shift" carried by the newspaper on Saturday had heaped some unwarranted praise on federal minister Miftah Ismail by arguing that "Miftah Ismail has made a good beginning by challenging PTI with facts and figures, making it obligatory for the Imran-led party to respond to him accordingly."
It is quite apparent that PTI has set a cat among the pigeons by working harder in response to the upcoming general elections.
PTI has also exposed the hollowness of the grand claims made by both PML-N and PPP. The PML-N press conference, in a nut shell, was a strong display of deep frustration. Both Miftah and interior minister Ahsan Iqbal miserably failed to counter PTI's 'first 100 days in government' agenda assault.
