Date for applying for PML-N's tickets extended till May 31

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has extended the date for submission of applications for party ticket for the upcoming general elections. A PML-N spokesman said that the applications for National and Provincial Assembly tickets can now be submitted up to May 31. The date has been extended due to the holy month of Ramazan and submission of a large number of applications, he added.
The spokesman said over one thousand applications have so far been received from Punjab for the award of party tickets for 2018 elections. The PML-N parliamentary board will start conducting interviews of the interested candidates after Eid, the sources said.
