Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) district Karak chapter proved corruption of Rs three million against the village Nazim of Nara Banda Union Council Shnawa Guddikhel Muhammad Azeem in district Karak and the village Nazim deposited the embezzled amount in the national exchequer. Sources in ACE Karak informed here that the department started investigation on the written application of elected councillors of village council Nara Banda about the alleged embezzlement in the utilization of the village council fund by the village Nazim.
The ACE technical team visited the concerned area and found Rs 3 million embezzlement in the construction of water tank, laying of pipeline and pavement of streets. After proving the charges against the village Nazim of fund embezzlement Rs 3 million were recovered from him. Additional circle officer Shehnaz Ali in this regard on contact confirmed the report and claimed that earlier ACE Karak has also recovered embezzled amount from the village Nazim Ahmadabad and Tehsil Municipal Administration Karak and Banda officials also.
