PMEX daily trading report

On Thursday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 3,427. The traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at 7.818 billion and the number of lots traded was 10,167. Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 2.990 billion, followed by WTI crude oil PKR1.854 billion, currencies through COTS PKR 1.374 billion, platinum PKR 604.052 million, silver PKR 336.099 million, DJ PKR 264.895 million, NSDQ100 PKR 124.154 million, natural gas PKR 109.663 million, copper PKR 94.603 million, SP500 PKR 38.659 million and Brent PKR 27.809million. In agricultural commodities, 9 lots of cotton amounting to PKR 4.298 million were traded.
