Islamabad: French investors have showed interest in the road sector of Pakistan, said EGIS international France project director Yammick Chaumet and country director Waqar A Babar during a meeting with the Federal Minister for Communications Dr. Arbab Alamgir Khan. The French delegation informed the minister that France has already invested in Pakistan’s agricultural sector and is now interested to invest in the road sector. Secretary communications Anwar Ahmed Khan was also present. The minister thanked the delegation for their interest to invest in Pakistan’s road infrastructure, and assured, to provide all type of technical, research oriented, and financial help required. The French delegation was also informed that China and Korea had already invested billion’s of dollars and are still working on different projects in Pakistan. The delegation was also informed that in Pakistan there are many opportunities to invest. The federal Minister said that the Pakistani government encourages foreign investment and the investors are trusting Pakistan.
