RECORDER REPORT: PSX close of day

KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the upper side on Friday at 21,133.38 points with a positive change of 344.45 and volume of 64,371,700 shares. High and Low were 21,174.24 and 20,788.93 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 29 were up, 1 were down and 0 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 98,522,230 shares. Total companies traded were 336 of which 245 were positive, 67 were negative and 24 were unchanged.

Commercial Banks was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 16,142,700 shares. It was followed by Chemicals with a total traded volume of 15,039,550 shares.
