Technology Upgradation and Skill Development Company (TUSDEC) is playing an instrumental role in training manpower on latest cutting edge technologies for local industries. TUSDEC established National Institute of Design and Analysis (NIDA) centres in Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, Quetta and Sialkot to offer hi-tech technical courses in industrial automation, designing, manufacturing and maintenance domain for mechanical, electrical, civil and process plant industry.
The training also encompass the need of strategic organizations. Thousands of professionals have participated in the training's to acquire knowledge and have practical experience of latest trends being implemented across various industrial sectors.
In today's competitive market, the use of technologies for preventive maintenance is imperative. Plant Condition monitoring, a process to monitor variations like vibration and temperature in machinery to predict a developing fault has gained far more importance for reliable production and extension in life of plant assets.
The use of condition monitoring techniques allows maintenance to be scheduled or other actions to be taken to prevent consequential damages. As a result of which it helps optimization of resources utilization, enhance useful life of equipment, improve inventory control, better productivity and in fact the budgetary control.
TUSDEC/NIDA has organized a comprehensive training on Plant Condition Monitoring in a local hotel covering the techniques of vibration analysis, oil & lube analysis, field balancing, laser alignment and infrared thermography techniques using thermal imaging cameras.
Lead Trainer having Doctorate in the field of Condition monitoring and vast industrial experience conducted the training sessions. Practical demonstration and filed visit was also carried out for comprehensive understanding of 22 participants gathered from corporate sector and strategic organizations like ICI, KSB Pumps, Berger Paints, KRL etc. Three days training was arranged in collaboration with Institute of Reliability and Centred Maintenance (IRCM).
Certificates were distributed on this occasion by by CEO TUSDEC Muhammad Alamgir Chaudhry and congratulated students for successfully completing the courses. Alamgir also highlighted the importance of Condition Monitoring in today's competitive world. The participants also applauded the training and active role of NIDA in providing the platform for such highly technical training.
