The members of the Pakistan People's Party (PPP) have joined the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) here on Monday. PPP leader Shabbir Manj and 50 other workers of the PPP announced to join the PTI at the reception hosted by local PTI leaders in the honour of PTI Senator Chaudhry Sarwar. PTI leaders Rai Hassan Nawaz and Chaudhry Ashfaq were also present on the occasion.
Addressing the function, the PTI leaders held the PML-N responsible for introducing horse-trading in Pakistan and added that the same party is now talking about rigging in the Senate election. They said that the N-League does not want to see the general elections to be held on time as they fear that they will face a certain defeat. They were of the view that democracy is threatened by corruption and looting of the PML-N and added that they are not supporters of judicial martial law. "Only Sheikh Rasheed can elaborate about it," they added. "The PML-N is breathing its last breath in Punjab and the PTI will win the next elections in Punjab," they claimed.
