Muslims from different walks of life gathered at the place of Minar-e-Pakistan under the leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and launched a historical struggle for a separate homeland. It is the pioneering, technical and skills based university where students from across the country will be admitted in graduate and technology courses. He said that Muslims decided to set up a separate homeland 77 years ago to get political and economic independence from the Hindus so that everyone could have equal rights and all the people could enjoy same opportunities to excel in life and they may not succumb to the rule of might is right. But there should be supremacy of law and justice so that every citizen could play its role in national development and get a respectable position in the society with its hard work.
