Chief of JUI-F, Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman on Wednesday hoped the MMA revival will help meet the religio-political parties to meet nation's expectations, saying the country's political system and politicians are the 'most' aggrieved. The country's institutions still carries a 'slave' mindset from the global organizations despite a colonialism has ended far ago, he told newsmen at a luncheon hosted by JUI-F in honor of journalists at a local hotel.
He said that the nation still expects these institutions to relinquish the colonial slave mindset and approach. The politicians of more 'humiliation' if failed to draw a new political contract, he warned, saying that "the politicians are the most aggrieved class of the country". Maulana, who is the President of MMA, said that none of the governments have ever been able to take independent decisions despite claims for sovereignty. Apparently, he said, the colonial system of the west has ended in 1945 following WWII, yet the big powers hold control of the underdeveloped and poor nations in the world.
"The big powers rule now through their global institutions and control the small and poor nations even not letting them take decision for their own independently," he said, "This is the new shape of colonial system". The UN Security Council, Geneva Conventions, Human Rights Commission and such other institutions are making us to follow their decisions, he added.
"No matter the international court of justice decisions collide with our Constitution, we have to follow them," he showed resentment, saying denial to these world bodies in following their decisions will lend the country in economic sanctions. "These decisions also leave our Constitution and laws ineffective as a result," Fazl said.
On the domestic front, he said that the JUI-F always wants to support ideological politics in the county. "We must talk for Islamic ideology," he said, slamming the governments for proclaiming the war-on-terror as its own fight since 2001. He said that "I failed to understand that whose this war is being fought against".
The JUI-F is holding a congregation next to Mazar-e-Quaid at Nomaish today titled "Islam Zindabad Conference", which Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman will also address. He also sought the public greater participation to the success of the event to air a clear message to the opponent forces.
