16 Lesco employees' heirs get jobs

The Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) has handed over appointment letters to 16 successors of LESCO employees who passed away during jobs. A ceremony to this effect held at the LESCO headquarters on Wednesday. Director Human Resources LESCO Azia Shoaib distributed appointment letters to the lucky ones including women. She said LESCO was fully committed to looking after the families of its employees died on job. All the 24,000 employees of LESCO are precious ones and the Company would protect their rights in all circumstances, she added.
She said those who are employed are hired for the offices of Commercial Assistant, UDC, Accountant Assistant, Line Superintendent, Meter Reader, Assistant Line Man and office boys.
