The incidents of various kinds of crimes including robberies, kidnapping, murder and vehicle thefts witnessed an increase in the federal capital during the last week. According to data gathered by the Business Recorder through registered first information reports (FIRs), various police stations of the city registered over nine cases of theft, snatching and burglary, six cases of auto theft and two cases each of murder and kidnapping.
The most "favourite" areas for the criminal gangs were within limits of Aabpara, Shalimar, Industrial Area and Ramna police stations. During the last week, Aabpara police station registered two cases of robbery. One Mehboob Ali filed a complaint with Aabpara police station that unknown robbers have stolen a laptop, I-Pod and other valuables from his car.
Another Aziz Ubaid Ullah informed Aabpara police station that unidentified bandits have stolen cash, gold ornaments, a laptop, I-pad and other valuables from his house.
Shalimar police station registered one case each of murder and robbery. One Bashir Ahmad Ali filed a complaint with Shalimar police station that accused Arshad Ali has killed his wife by strangulating her. Another Sundas Khan informed Shalimar police station that unknown robbers have stolen gold ornaments from her house.
Similarly, Industrial Area police station registered one each of robbery and auto theft. One Muhammad Daniyal filed a complaint with Industrial Area police station that unknown robbers stole his car bearing registration number AGG-757, a laptop, cell phone and a watch from his house. The thieves also stole a bike (RIQ -4345) of Abdul Majeed.
During the week under review, Ramna police station registered two cases each of robbery. One Muhammad Ayub filed a complaint with Ramna police station that accused Bakhat Nawaz along with others have stolen cash, and gold ornaments from his house.
Another Zain Ullah informed Ramna police station that accused Muslim Khan and Akbar Khan along with their mother have stolen a cellphone and other valuables from his house.
During the said period, Margalla and Bhara Kahu police stations registered one case each of robbery. Secretariat, Khanna, Shahzad Town and Lohi Bher police stations registered one case each of auto theft.
Similarly Bani Gala police station registered one case of murder while Tarnol and Golra police stations registered one case each of kidnapping during the last week.
