LWMC, FWO sign accord for cleanliness services

The Lahore Waste Management Company (LWMC) and Frontier Works Organization (FWO) have signed an agreement for providing cleanliness services at Southern loop of Lahore Ring Road. A ceremony was organized at the LWMC head office wherein LWMC MD Bilal Mustafa Syed and Colonel Atif signed the agreement, said LWMC spokesperson here on Tuesday.
GM Operations Asif Iqbal, GM Procurement Waqaruddin But, GM HR and Admin Farrukh Butt, CFO Mansoor Khalil, Senior Manager Communication Ali Mazhar, Senior Managers Operations Zahid Mushtaq and Murtaza Chaudhary were also present on the occasion.
The LWMC will provide cleanliness services in three shifts. In the third shift, the LWMC will provide mechanical sweeping/washing services. The cleaning services on the 22.5-km long southern loop will cost Rs 72 million per annum.
