The crucial by-election for NA-154 Lodhran-I will be held on Monday where a neck-to-neck competition between Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) is expected. The seat which fell vacant after disqualification of PTI MNA Jahangir Khan Tareen, a close aide of PTI chairman Imran Khan, will determine the popularity of the PTI as the party had awarded ticket to his son Ali Tareen.
The overall ten candidates are contesting the by-election. However, tough contest is expected among Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's Ali Khan Tareen and PML-N's candidate Muhammad Iqbal Shah.
