Zainab's murder case: ATC to frame charges on February 12

Anti-Terrorism Court on Saturday heard the case against Imran Ali, accused of Zainab's murder at Kot Lakhpat Jail, and fixed February 12 for framing charges against him. Earlier the copies of the challan were provided to the lawyers of both parties and the prosecutor also informed the court that witnesses in the case have been summoned on Monday.
Imran Ali, 23, was arrested from Kasur after his DNA matched with samples collected from the body of Zainab Ansari. The prosecutor had requested the court to hold the trial inside the jail for security reasons. The judge said that hearings of the trial will be conducted on a daily basis.
