The Millennial Olympiad TMO 2018 commenced with an uproar full of fun and frolic at The Millennium University College - TMUC Springs, Bahria Town Rawalpindi on Friday, 2018. The 03 days' mega fest was inaugurated by several competitions and 500 plus Participants from over 15 institutions around the twin cities, taking part in 12 exciting competitions which include - Football, Badminton, Volleyball, Snooker, Minute to Win It, Talent Show, Pet Show, Tambola, Paintball, Console Gaming and Table Tennis.
The social events begin with a DJ Night by the prominent DJ 'Somewhat Super', followed by the signature Fashion Show with the famous Tariq Amin and all to take place this weekend! TMO'18 is an initiative of the bright and enthusiastic students of TMUC Bahria Springs, Rawalpindi.
It is a platform in which participant students from across the twin cities have registered to prove their aptitude and creativity within various domains of co and extracurricular activities.
The Opening Ceremony was presided over by Anna Faisal, the Executive Director of Roots Millennium Schools & The Millennium University Colleges, Pakistan. She pronounced that the aim of The Millennial Olympiad 2018 is to inspire youth to help shape the world based on solidarity, liberty, dignity, harmony and prosperity for all. She appreciated the initiative of the students and encouraged the youth of Pakistan to become the agents of change through engagement in student initiatives on national and international forums. Her speech enhanced the students' spirit of patriotism and nationalism.
The ceremony also included speeches by TMO'18 President Ahmed Waqar Khan, who profoundly thanked TMUC Management and Host Team for their tireless efforts. He also encouraged the students present at the Opening ceremony to pursue to take pride in their school and take the spirit of entrepreneurship forward so as to contribute to the development and growth of Pakistan as a country and a nation.
The opening ceremony included a lively performance by the host team, which the audience thoroughly enjoyed. The commencement of the Table Tennis and Badminton tournaments and the Pet Show followed the ceremony.-PR
