Sports Board Punjab (SBP) showered cash prizes of Rs 3.345 million on the winners of second Quaid-e-Azam Inter-Provincial Games in a grand prize distribution ceremony held at National Hockey Stadium on Thursday. Punjab Minister for Sports Jahangir Khanzada and Secretary Sports Punjab Muhammad Aamir Jan awarded cash prizes to the athletes.
Punjab contingent topped the medals table of Quaid-e-Azam Inter-Provincial Games with a massive aggregate of 151 medals that include 74 gold, 46 silver and 31 bronze medals. Punjab's female athletics team was given the biggest cash prize among all the participants. They got Rs 410,000 whereas their male counterparts were awarded Rs 2,60,000. The Minister for Sports Jahangir Khanzada also gave cheques of Rs 50,000 each to female members of Pakistani power lifting team Saniha Ghafoor, Twinkle Sohail and Sybil Sohail, who won four gold medals each in the Oceania Pacific Powerlifting Championship in Singapore recently.

Wrestling (male) Rs 160,000, Weightlifting (male) Rs 155,000, Judo (male) Rs 145,000, Boxing (male) Rs 140,000, Judo (female) Rs 135,000, Badminton (male) Rs 105,000, Badminton (female) Rs 85,000, Snooker (male) Rs 105,000, Volleyball (male) Rs 100,000, Volleyball (female) Rs 100,000, Kabaddi (male) Rs 100,000, Baseball (male) Rs 100,000, Table tennis (male) Rs 100,000, Table tennis (female) Rs 85,000, Football (female) Rs 100,000, Football (male) Rs 75,000, Hockey (female) Rs 100,000, Hockey (male) Rs 75,000, Wushu (male) Rs 90,000, Tennis (male) Rs 90,000, Tennis (female) Rs 90,000, Netball (male) Rs 75,000, Netball (female) Rs 75,000, Karate (male) Rs 70,000, Karate (female) Rs 50,000, Taekwondo (female) Rs 75,000, Taekwondo (male) Rs 25,000, Squash (male) Rs 35,000 and Squash (female) Rs 35,000.
