Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Lahore Amin Wains on Tuesday handed over keys of newly-constructed houses to four families of martyred cops who sacrificed their lives in the line of duty. In a ceremony held at the CCPO office here on Tuesday, the CCPO distributed house keys among the families of martyred constable Zafar Iqbal, Umair Ghani, Sajid Ali and Abid Ali who sacrificed their lives while performing their duties.
Wains said police is helping the families of martyrs, diseased and regular police officials through the welfare-eye SMS service. Speaking on the occasion, SSP Admin Rana Ayaz Saleem said police officials are assets of Lahore police. Also, the SSP directed the staff of welfare-eye to keep in touch with the families of martyred cops and ensure their proper guidance.
