Regional Tax Office rewards squad for seizing illicit cigarettes

The Regional Tax Office (RTO) II rewarded officers and officials the tobacco squad for conducting successful raids and seizing 7,230,000 sticks of illicit cigarettes from Sheikhupura in the month of November. Gift vouchers were distributed by FBR's Inland Revenue Enforcement Network (IREN) among all the participants.
The ceremony was presided over by Saman Zahra Assistant Commissioner Inland Revenue. Shabana Aziz Additional Commissioner (HQ) and Nasir Jamal Shah Assistant Commissioner also attended the ceremony. The ceremony was concluded with the IREN acknowledging the fact that Syed Imran Raza Kazmi, Chief Commissioner RTO-II Lahore had always been at the forefront to curb and control the illicit tobacco trade during his last two stints as Chief Commissioner RTO, Sialkot and RTO, II, Lahore.
