ERI conducts workshop in Peshawar

Educational Research Institute (ERI) has conducted a free workshop in Peshawar on Saturday to introduce its course. The workshop was conducted by the Safoora Naeem Executive Director ERI along with Sajila Abrar, Halima Abu Bakar and Fashi-ur-Rehman at Qurtaba School and College Hayatabad Peshawar. Naseem Siddique Director ERI said that the basic aim of this workshop was to share the experience of ERI with other educational institutes for quality education system.
"The ERI, in its workshop, has described the goals of an educational organization, goals of Islamic Education and importance of personality, character and qualities of an education leader", he added. He informed that ERI was established in 1995 with objective to provide professional development opportunities for practicing aspiring teachers and to develop textbooks which are culturally suitable and Islamic integrated. "ERI is providing vision to those engaged in education so as to enable them to reconstruct human thought in all its forms on the foundation of Islam", he mentioned. In addition, research for the improvement of overall education system, develop resource material for effective teaching and provide services to newly develop franchises of school are also objective of ERI, he said.
Siddique said that presently, ERI is working for research, teacher & book development, early childhood education, educational Material Development and school consultancy. He hoped that the successful workshop in Peshawar will provide more support to ERI, which is already planning to conduct free workshops in major cities of the country for a better educational system.
