KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the lower side on Monday at 22,981.79 points with a negative change of -237.73 and volume of 109,301,500 shares. High and Low were 23,329.89 and 22,939.72 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 6 were up, 24 were down and 0 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 178,021,176 shares. Total companies traded were 368 of which 111 were positive, 242 were negative and 15 were unchanged.

Chemicals was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 33,798,220 shares. It was followed by Power Generation and Distribution with a total traded volume of 19,079,500 shares.
