KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the lower side on Monday at 22,963.32 points with a negative change of -540.66 and volume of 152,681,800 shares. High and Low were 23,346.59 and 22,690 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 6 were up, 24 were down and 0 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 214,082,630 shares. Total companies traded were 366 of which 102 were positive, 252 were negative and 12 were unchanged.

Chemicals was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 34,111,240 shares. It was followed by Cement with a total traded volume of 28,028,550 shares.
