KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the upper side on Thursday at 23,306.51 points with a positive change of 58.59 and volume of 153,583,800 shares. High and Low were 23,462.43 and 23,162.32 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 21 were up, 8 were down and 1 was unchanged.
Total volume traded in the market was 245,116,230 shares. Total companies traded were 381 of which 223 were positive, 137 were negative and 21 were unchanged.
Cement was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 31,741,550 shares. It was followed by Chemicals with a total traded volume of 31,460,480 shares.
