Two workers die after falling from rooftops

Two labourers died after falling from roofs while working in the metropolis on Friday, rescue sources said. A 22-year-old man, Muhammad Aqeel, was killed after falling during work on the roof of under-construction building near Korangi Crossing. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for medico-legal formalities. Similarly, working on the rooftop of a building in Civil Lines area, a labourer, aged 24, fell. He was unconscious when he was taken to JPMC, where he died. According to rescue sources, this was the second reported case of the death of a worker in the city on the day.
