Honesty, Courtesy and Help are basic traits of National Highways & Motorway Police (NH&MP) and its Guidance and Facilitation Centers are best example of providing effective help to the road users in distress. This was said by Shaukat Hayat Inspector General (IG) NH&MP while inaugurating new Facilitation Centers in N-5 Central Zone at Renala Khurd, Sahiwal, Mian Chanu and Khanewal.
IG NH&MP Shaukat Hayat said that Motorway Police was a department renowned its professionalism and public service policies. He said that best work can only be done with purity of intentions. The facilitation centers will provide timely and qualitative help to the distressed road users and only reward for this help would be will of Allah Almighty as help to the people is a priceless treasure of both this world and world hereafter. This Guidance promotes the friendly image of NH&MP and it is a step towards community policing as well, he added. He further said it will act as place for journey break for road commuters during long journey on highways.
The IG Shaukat Hayat said that NH&MP is service oriented force and provision of prompt help to the distressed road users is the hallmark of the department. The well-mannered conduct with commuters, courtesy and indiscriminate enforcement of law must be ensured to enhance the image of NH&MP. IG also lauded the efforts of Zonal Commander DIG Mirza Faran Baig, Sector Commander SSP Masroor Alam and SSP Ghulam Jaffer for establishing state of the art facilitations centers.
