LAHORE: Bullish trend prevailed in the Lahore Stock Exchange on Monday, as it gained 63.02 points following the LSE-25 index opened with 3122.72 and closed at 3185.74 points.
The market's overall situation also corresponded to an upward trend as it remained at 5.317 million shares to close against the previous turnover of 1.756 million shares, showing a upward trend of 3.561 million shares. While out of the total 104 active scrips 43 moved up, 54 remained equal and only 7 shed values.
Pakistan State Oil Company Limited, Pakistan Petroleum Limited and Oil and Gas Development Company Limited were major gainers of the day by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 9.65, Rs 4.35 and Rs 2.80 respectively.
Pakistan Oilfieds Limited, Tri-Pack Films Limited and Attock Refinery Limited lost their per share value by Rs 5.71, Rs 4.00 and Rs 2.71 respectively.
The volume leader of the day included NIB Bank Limited with 1.338 million shares, The Bank of Punjab Limited with 1.212 million shares and Silk Bank Limited with 704,189 shares.
