KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the upper side on Monday at 20,820.96 points with a positive change of 169.27 and volume of 146,050,000 shares. High and Low were 21,171 and 20,651.69 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 20 were up, 10 were down and 0 was unchanged.
Total volume traded in the market was 235,357,930 shares. Total companies traded were 385 of which 234 were positive, 139 were negative and 12 were unchanged.
Cement was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 34,747,550 shares. It was followed by Chemicals with a total traded volume of 30,254,720 shares.
