Provincial Minister for Higher Education Syed Raza Ali Gillani has said that Pakistanis are live nation and will defeat terrorists with unity. He expressed these views during a speech at Punjab University Gymnasium here on Sunday where students from various public universities were gathered to participate in Pakistan Super League on the direction of Punjab Chief Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif.
Vice Chancellor Professor Zafar Mueen Nasir and other officials were also present on the occasion. A large number of students belong to Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, FATA and Gilgit Baltistan studying in Punjab University, Agricultural University Faisalabad, Bahauddin Zakriya University Multan, University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Lahore, Government College University Faisalabad and University of Gujrat were present on the occasion. The students were wearing their traditional dresses belonging to their areas. Syed Raza Ali Gillani said that on the directions of the Chief Minister, these students had been especially selected so that we could give the message of unity.
PU VC Dr Zafar Mueen Nasir said that we must prove with our attitude that we are the best nation and international matches could be played in the country. Later, the students departed for Qazafi Stadium in buses.
