SSGC installs under water pipeline in Indus for RLNG

Sui Southern Gas Company's (SSGC's) diligent team of engineers and technicians along with the contractor (M/s. China Petroleum Pipeline Bureau, China) on Friday completed a challenging task by successfully installing 2.1 km of 42 inches diameter gas pipeline at around 45 meters (148 feet) depth at the Mighty River Indus through Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) process.
The HDD of this magnitude has been carried out for the first time in Pakistan and is a unique project in itself. This is a part of the mega RLNG-2 project, which is taking place in compliance of the directives from the Federal Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Resources (MPNR).
