The personnel of Islamabad police, Rangers and other security agencies on Saturday arrested 57 suspects during a search operation conducted in the limits of Secretariat and Industrial Area police stations. An official said that police along with Rangers and other security agencies conducted a search operation in various localities of Secretariat and Industrial Area police stations and arrested 57 suspects, including three Afghan nationals, besides recovering weapons from their possession.
Moreover, three motorbikes recovered from the possession of the arrested persons have been taken into custody, the official said, adding that all the suspects have been shifted to police stations for further investigation. Of the total 57 suspects, 45 of them, including three Afghan nationals, were nabbed from the limits of Industrial Area police station, the official added.
