Fresh wave of terrorism

The army has taken the right step by asking the Afghan government to hand over as many as 76 terrorists who are hiding in Afghanistan. The country's security forces have also taken another highly significant step in response to a suicide blast at the shrine of Shahbaz Qalandar by eliminating more than 100 terrorists.
That the situation brooks no complacency is a fact. That is why the PML-N government, which was until recently in a denial mode insofar as the presence of ISIS in Pakistan is concerned, has authorised the army to eliminate the enemy wherever they are. The gains made by the Operation Zarb-e-Azb were good, but there were no grounds for complacency.
