PMEX daily trading report

On Tuesday, at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 3,164. The total traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 8.80 billion and the number of lots traded was 18,389. Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 3.82 billion, followed by currencies through COTS PKR 3.37 billion, WTI crude oil PKR 1.30 billion, silver PKR 242.00 million, copper PKR 61.97 million and Brent crude oil PKR 7.32 million. In addition to this, in agricultural commodities, 2 lots of cotton amounting to PKR 0.801 million were also traded.
